RAPT III / Therapeutic Training

Microsoft Teams
Virtual Event Virtual Event

RAPT III and Therapeutic Training offer an in-depth discussion of the following important topics: attachment, discipline, and the effects of caregiving on the family. In this two-day training, we’ll cover multiple aspects of trauma-informed, therapeutic parenting, including child sexual abuse; treatment options and behavior expectations for children who have sexually inappropriate behaviors; and how to establish strong bonds with foster children while helping them build coping skills. All discussions are rooted in understanding how children respond to trauma, how trauma can interfere with development and functioning, and how trauma can affect children’s view of themselves and their future.
