Our brains grow so fast during childhood and adolescence. We all learn important lessons from our caregivers, which impacts the ways our brains develop. The unfortunate introduction of childhood trauma begins to mold how we see the world. Understanding its impact will help us to better understand ways to help heal the brain of a child (or teen, or an adult – it is never too late!)
